Mary Lee 31, single with 6 siblings and the 5th in the family. She wants to work in Singapore to help out the family, she is determined to complete her contract, especially for her mother sake. She is a certified caregiver from Isabela, Negros Occidental.
Mary Lee described herself as hardworking, cheerful and trustworthy. In her free time, she likes to cook and do sewing.
She graduated from high school, equivalent to Spore's Sec School standard and an NCII certificate in caregiving.
1 year (2007-2008) as a helper in the Philippines.
Mary’s day starts 7am with cleaning and tidying the house with another co-helper. In a 3 bedrooms apartment with a 4 members family.
9 years (2008-2017) as a caregiver in the Philippines.
She worked for a 3 members family which consisted 2 elderly sisters aged 89 and 93 old years old. Her routine involved keeping them clean, bath them, changed dirty and soiled diapers, she prepared and cooked their meals, go for early morning exercise with them, also accompanied and drive them to hospital for medical review. Mary Lee didn’t continue working because her employer passed away.
2 months (Mar – Apr 2017) as a caregiver in the Philippines.
Mary looked after a diabetic elderly patient, she would monitor her vital sign, inject right amount of insulin to maintain healthy insulin level. She also did household chores as well.
2018 – present
Mary took leave and rested. As a caregiver, she is aware that she will still need to do some household chores, though her main focus is to the patients’ welfare. A good caregiver is patient and loving, must understand their temperament, look after them lovingly, even when they throw tantrum.
Mary Lee cooks Filipino dishes, willing to learn to cook Chinese and any other dishes for her employer.
She is keen to look after mobile or immobile elderly.
She will follow the employer's instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone at night.
Any other usage arrangement is between employer and maid, this will be stated in the Job Offer.
The caregiver/helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other 3 working off-days, will be compensated accordingly.

2 years contract
She is aware to complete a 2 years contract with her future employer.
Based on her experience, as a caregiver and a helper in the Philippines, she is ready to take on new challenges in Singapore. She is keen to look after mobile and/or immobile elderly, aware that she needs to do some household chores, even as a caregiver.
